Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of bitstaq.com (the “Site”) and, where you order or request a sample, the motion graphics service. The Site and the service are run by BITSTAQ Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202547845R, “BITSTAQ”, “we”, “us”), a Singapore company. By using the Site you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.

1. The Site

The Site describes what we offer, shows examples of our work, and lets you contact us or request a sample or an order. Submitting a request doesn’t create a contract. A contract for an order starts when you pay the payment link we send you, on the terms in section 9.

2. Acceptable use

When you use the Site, you agree not to:

• Use it for anything unlawful.
• Probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Site or our systems, or try to access any part of them without permission.
• Send spam, automated submissions or requests on someone else’s behalf without their permission.
• Give false details, including claiming a channel or video that isn’t yours to share.
• Copy or reproduce substantial parts of the Site for commercial use without our written permission.

3. Intellectual property

The Site’s content, including the BITSTAQ name, logo, illustrations, copy, code and sample videos, belongs to BITSTAQ or the people who licensed it to us. You may link to the Site. You may not otherwise reproduce or adapt it without our written permission. Section 9 covers what you may do with graphics we deliver to you.

4. Third-party services

The Site links to and uses services run by others, such as YouTube, WhatsApp, Google Drive and Stripe. We don’t control them, and your use of them is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

5. The Site is provided as is

We work to keep the Site accurate and available, but it is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Marketing descriptions on the Site aren’t contract terms. The terms that apply to an order are the ones in section 9.

6. Limitation of liability for the Site

To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site, such as lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for the Site itself, apart from any order, is limited to SGD 100. Section 9 sets the limit for orders. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t lawfully be limited.

7. Indemnity

You agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs, including legal fees, if a third party makes a claim against us because you misused the Site, broke these terms, or sent us content you didn’t have the right to send.

8. Changes

We may change the Site or these terms. The version with the latest “Last updated” date applies to your use of the Site from then on. An order you’ve already paid for stays on the terms in place when you paid.

9. Motion graphics service terms

What you get

We add motion graphics, with sound effects, over your finished video and send it back as a video file at the resolution you sent. Graphics are made in our house style. We don’t recut, edit or reorder your footage, and we don’t work from a brief.

A usable file

You send a finished, horizontal video in a common format (such as MP4 or MOV) that downloads and plays correctly and that matches the length you told us. If a file isn’t usable, we’ll tell you, and the turnaround below starts once a usable file arrives.

Price

• US$349 for a video up to 20 minutes.
• US$150 for every additional 10 minutes. Part of a 10-minute block counts as a full block, so a 21-minute video is US$499.
• The standard price covers videos up to 90 minutes (US$1,399). Longer videos are by agreement.
• Your first three videos are charged at the rates above, even if our published prices change.

We confirm the exact price by email after checking the length of the file you upload.

Ordering and payment

After you send an order request, we share a private Google Drive folder for your video. Once you’ve uploaded it, we email your exact price and a Stripe payment link. Work starts only after payment. The contract for that order starts when you pay.

Turnaround

We deliver by the end of the next Singapore working day after we have both your payment and a usable file. Anything that arrives after 6pm Singapore time counts as arriving the following working day. Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding Singapore public holidays. If something will delay delivery, we’ll tell you as soon as we know.

Fixes

• Removal: we remove any graphic you don’t want, for any reason.
• Defects: we redraw a graphic that is objectively wrong, such as a spelling mistake, a wrong fact or logo, or broken motion.
• We don’t redraw graphics to match a different taste or style, and we don’t make changes to your footage.

Your video

You confirm you own your video or have the right to send it to us and to have graphics added to it. You give us permission to copy and process it only to deliver your order. We won’t use a paid order in our marketing without your separate written permission.

Your licence to the graphics

Once you’ve paid, you may publish and use the delivered video, with its graphics, anywhere, including on monetised channels. This licence depends on payment and ends if you receive a refund. We keep the rights in our tools, templates and underlying designs.

Files

We delete the video you uploaded from the shared folder 14 days after delivery. Please download your delivered video promptly and keep your own copies.

Liability for orders

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for an order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we aren’t liable for indirect loss such as lost views, revenue or sponsorships.

10. Refund policy

If you’re not happy with your first order, you can get 75% of the price you paid back when all of these apply:

• It’s your first order with us.
• You haven’t had a refund from us before.
• You ask within 7 days of delivery.
• You haven’t published the video with our graphics.
• You first asked us for fixes under section 9, gave us the chance to make them, and are still not happy.

To ask, email ben@bitstaq.com. The refund goes back to your original payment method through Stripe. When you’re refunded, your licence to the graphics ends, so you must not publish or use the delivered video with our graphics.

This policy doesn’t affect any rights you have under the law.

11. Free sample licence

When you request a free sample, we add graphics to part of a video you’ve published and send you a private link. The sample is free and you don’t have to order anything. By ticking the licence box on the sample form, you agree to the following (licence version 2026-09-15.1):

1. Licence. You give BITSTAQ Pte. Ltd. a licence to use the sample, including the part of your video it is made from and your name, voice and likeness as they appear in it, to market our motion graphics service. The licence is non-exclusive, so you keep every right in your own video.
2. Where we may use it. On the Site, our social media profiles, paid ads, email and sales conversations with potential clients.
3. Territory. Worldwide.
4. How long it lasts. Until you tell us in writing to stop, by emailing ben@bitstaq.com. After that we won’t use the sample in anything new, and we’ll remove it from pages and profiles we control within a reasonable time. We can’t recall messages already sent or copies others have already shared.
5. Your confirmation. You confirm you’re 18 or older and that you own the video or have the right to grant this licence for it.
6. Edits. You agree to graphics being added over your video, and to the sample being trimmed to show the part with graphics.
7. No payment. You won’t be paid for this use. The sample itself is free. When we show it as an example of our work, we’ll make clear it’s a free sample, not paid client work.
8. Law. This licence is governed by the laws of Singapore.

Before we use a sample publicly, we confirm the request came from someone who controls the channel. If you didn’t request a sample that was made from your video, email us and we’ll delete it.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
