Privacy Policy

BITSTAQ Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202547845R, “BITSTAQ”, “we”, “us”) runs bitstaq.com (the “Site”) and the motion graphics service offered on it. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, who helps us process it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have under Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).

1. What we collect

When you request a free sample, we collect your first name, email address, YouTube channel link, the video link you choose, rough subscriber and view ranges, how often you upload, your answers to our questions (why your videos don’t have motion graphics yet, how you found us, who referred you), your confirmations that you meet the eligibility conditions, and a record of your agreement to the sample licence (which version of it you saw and when you agreed).

When you request an order, we collect your name, email address, your video’s title or topic and length, an optional link to the video file, your notes, how you found us and your agreement to our service terms. To deliver an order we also handle the video you upload to the Google Drive folder we share with you.

How you found us. When you arrive on the Site, your browser keeps a note of the page you landed on, the page that sent you, any campaign tags in the link (UTM parameters) and any Meta click identifier (fbclid). This stays in your browser for the session and is only sent to us if you submit a form.

Payments. You pay through a Stripe payment link. Stripe collects your card details. They never reach the Site or us.

Messages. If you email or WhatsApp us, we receive your email address or phone number, your name if you share it, and what you write.

Site usage. See section 3 for analytics, the Meta Pixel and the spam check on our forms.

We don’t store your IP address with your form submission.

2. Why we use it

• To reply to your request, decide whether your video is a fit, make your sample and follow up about it.
• To price, deliver and support an order, and to keep records of it.
• To send you emails about your request, such as a confirmation with a copy of what you agreed to.
• To show your sample in our marketing, only if you agreed to the sample licence, and only after we’ve confirmed you control the channel.
• To understand how the Site is used and, with your consent, measure our ads.
• To keep spam and abuse out of our forms.
• To meet our legal obligations in Singapore.

3. Cookies, analytics and the Meta Pixel

When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept cookies. One choice covers both analytics and advertising measurement. Nothing that identifies your browser is set until you accept, and you can change your mind at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.

• Google Analytics 4. If you accept, Google sets analytics cookies and records pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location and referring page. If you decline, we use Google’s Consent Mode, which sends limited measurement pings without cookies or an identifier.
• Vercel Web Analytics. Counts page views without cookies and without identifying you. It runs whatever you choose in the banner.
• Meta Pixel. Only on our motion graphics pages (the service page, the sample and order pages and their confirmation pages), and only after you accept. It tells Meta which of those pages you viewed and whether you submitted a form, along with browser and device information, a Meta cookie and any Meta click identifier. Meta may link this to a Meta account you hold. We use it to measure and improve our ads. It is never used on our one-to-one video pages.
• Cloudflare Turnstile. Our forms use it to check that a person, not a bot, is sending them. It looks at signals from your browser and device. This is needed for the form to work, so it isn’t covered by the cookie banner.
• Small items in your browser. Your cookie choice (kept until you change it or clear your browser data), a note of how you found us and an unsent form draft (both deleted when you close the tab), and a short cookie set for 10 minutes after you submit a form so a conversion is counted once.

You can also limit ad personalisation through your Meta ad preferences, aboutads.info and youronlinechoices.eu. We don’t sell your data.

4. Who helps us process it

We use these service providers. Each only gets what it needs to do its job.

• Vercel: hosts the Site and runs Vercel Web Analytics. United States and other regions.
• Neon: the database that stores form submissions. United States.
• Notion: our sales tracker, which holds a copy of each submission. United States.
• Resend: sends the emails about your request. United States.
• Cloudflare: Turnstile spam checks and hosting for the videos on the Site. Global network.
• Google: Google Analytics, and Google Drive for the files you upload with an order. United States and other regions.
• Meta: the Meta Pixel (with your consent) and WhatsApp, if you message us there. United States and other regions.
• Zoho Mail: hosts our inbox at ben@bitstaq.com. Outside Singapore.
• Stripe: takes payment for orders. United States and other regions.

5. International transfers

Most of these providers process data outside Singapore. We use providers that commit, by contract, to protecting personal data to a standard comparable to the PDPA, which is what the PDPA requires of a transfer.

6. How long we keep it

• Form submissions and our emails with you: up to 3 years after you sent the form, then deleted. The same applies to the copy in our sales tracker and inbox.
• Videos you upload for an order: deleted from the shared folder 14 days after delivery.
• Google Analytics: 14 months.
• Meta Pixel data: held by Meta under its own terms, generally up to 2 years.
• Email delivery logs: kept by Resend for its standard log period.

If you ask us to delete your data earlier, we will, unless we have to keep something by law (for example, payment records).

7. Your rights

Under the PDPA, you can ask us to:

• Show you the personal data we hold about you and how we’ve used it.
• Correct data that’s wrong or out of date.
• Stop using your data for a purpose you consented to, including withdrawing the sample licence for future use.
• Delete your data, where we don’t need to keep it by law.

Email ben@bitstaq.com from the address you used, so we can confirm it’s you. We aim to reply within 30 days.

8. Age

Our forms are for people aged 18 or older. The Site isn’t aimed at children. If you think a child has sent us their details, contact us and we’ll delete them.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or loss, including encrypted connections and restricted access to our database and tracker. No online service is completely secure. If you think your data has been compromised, contact us straight away. If a data breach is likely to cause you significant harm, we will notify you and the Personal Data Protection Commission, as the PDPA requires.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we change the “Last updated” date above, and for significant changes we’ll say so on the Site.
