Privacy Policy

BITSTAQ Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202547845R, “BITSTAQ”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit bitstaq.com(the “Site”), how we use it, and the rights you have under the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).

1. What we collect

We collect a limited amount of data when you interact with the Site:

  • Analytics data (IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, time on page, referring URL) via Google Analytics 4 and Vercel Analytics. Only collected if you accept cookies in our cookie banner.
  • Interaction events (e.g. WhatsApp CTA clicks, which vertical page you clicked) — aggregated, not tied to your identity.
  • Messages you send us via WhatsApp or email (your phone number, name if shared, and the content of your message). You provide these voluntarily when you initiate contact.

We do not collect payment information on the Site. We do not use third-party advertising trackers or remarketing pixels.

2. Why we collect it

  • To understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it.
  • To respond to your enquiries when you message us on WhatsApp or email.
  • To comply with our legal obligations in Singapore.

3. Cookies

We use cookies only for analytics. You can accept or decline cookies via the banner at the bottom of the page. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and Google Analytics does not track your visit.

We do not use tracking pixels from advertising networks. We do not sell your data.

4. Who we share with

We share a limited amount of data with the following service providers who help us run the Site:

  • Google (Google Analytics 4) — aggregated analytics. Data may be processed in the United States.
  • Vercel — website hosting and Vercel Analytics. Data may be processed in the United States and European Union.
  • WhatsApp (Meta) — messaging, when you initiate a WhatsApp conversation with us via our Site CTAs.
  • Zoho Mail — email hosting for contact@bitstaq.com.

We do not sell or rent personal data to any third party.

5. International transfers

Some of our service providers process data outside Singapore. We only use providers that offer protections equivalent to the PDPA — including contractual commitments and standard contractual clauses where applicable.

6. How long we keep it

  • Analytics data: up to 14 months in Google Analytics, then deleted.
  • WhatsApp and email correspondence: as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you and for up to 3 years after for reference, unless you ask us to delete earlier.

7. Your rights under the PDPA

Under the Singapore PDPA, you can:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct any data that is inaccurate or out-of-date.
  • Withdraw consent to any of our uses of your data at any time.
  • Request deletion of your data where we no longer have a legal basis to retain it.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at contact@bitstaq.com. We aim to respond within 30 days.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no online service is completely secure — please contact us immediately if you suspect your data has been compromised.

9. Children

The Site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we update the “Last updated” date at the top. These policies are subject to periodic review as our services and the law evolve.
